Met the teacher
The boys got to go to their new school to meet their teachers today. Both super cute ladies who look like they will be great. I had a slight concern when I found out that Carson's teacher's name is Kathy Bates, (and if you've seen Misery, you understand my hesitation) but she is a cute, thin blond woman with a great smile, so I'll presume she's not in the business of stalking and breaking legs. Well, we'll cross our fingers anyway!

How funny! Funny thing, our Carson's teacher is not named Cathy Bates but she sure acts like her! Gotta love the public school system!
My two older girls each had Mrs. Nelson for fourth grade. She's an excellent teacher; very structured. Just be prepared for some major projects in the last trimester. My third daughter had Mrs. Bates for first grade and loved her. We're sad that she'll be retired before daughter number four will be in first grade.
