Transferring...

...that's what we're calling it. We're moving our entire household to the house next door. The house we currently reside in has decided it is worth more than we are willing to pay, so we're going someplace else. Lucky for us, the house next door is available and we are taking it. We're planning on "transferring" everything this week. Wish us luck!

Gavin's Baptism

We just got these pictures loaded, so I figured I would post them. Both sets of Gavin's grandparents, a great aunt and uncle and his Great Grandpa came out for his Baptism. It was a busy weekend, but so nice to see everyone.

The little dresser that could

Let me tell you a little story... 39 years ago my parents purchased some bedroom furniture that was intended to be a temporary set until they could get something nicer. They gave it an update and re-painted it sometime around 1990. It served as their bedroom set for 28 years. Clint and I received it when we were first married and painted it navy blue to go with our newly established home. 6 years later, we painted it white and added red knobs, got rid of the mirror and took off the little door to use for Gavin's room. It is a particle board dresser with no solid wood anywhere on it. Anyway, after about 15 Navy moves and 39 years, it has found a new home. (Thank you Craig's list) Someone else will enjoy this piece of history now. Amazing.

On Saturday, we had a chance to meet up with some of our friends from our time in San Diego. The best part of the evening? The GIANT booth we got to sit in. Clint and I were the designated wearers-of-color that night. I guess we missed the memo about wearing black.
