Week One: Moving in and getting settled. The worst part about moving is that you can't dedicate all your time to just unpacking and putting stuff away. Children still need to be fed, laundry still needs to washed, and church stuff doesn't magically go away until you're all finished. It was a busy, and boring(Gavin said), first week, but we got the house mostly put together.
Week Two: The kids and I went to Idaho to visit with our friends from San Diego. Good ol' Kendra and her kids, Sierra and Glenn. The kids didn't skip a beat and went right back to playing like we never moved away. It was so much fun, minus the 12-hour road trip each way. Either way, we played a lot of cards, ate way too much Qdoba and had a cookie baking marathon on our last night there. Good times, good times. Our little Cambo received two additional nicknames on the trip as well...Cambriella (thanks, Glenn) and Cambodia. She is not war torn, merely a little precocious and quite fond of liquid soap.
