Yesterday was Carson's 6th birthday! I can't even believe it, but it's the truth. True to appropriate blogging etiquette, I suppose I better post some of my favorite photos from the last 6 years! Happy Birthday Buddy, we love you!
I am trying to decide what color to paint our bedroom in the new house. View the colors below and let me know what you think by casting your vote to the right. Remember, we'll be in Washington where the weather is often gloomy.
Last Saturday, one of the elementary schools in town had a little carnival for the kids. Clint was out of town and it was a nice day, so I figured we'd pop over for a bit. Here's what we got for the $12 in tickets:
2 faces painted (and one rash from a face paint allergy, who knew?)
1 bottle of sand art (made by Gavin, shaken and messed up by Carson)
4 tries at the cake walk (never a winner)
10 darts thrown at balloons (awesome puppet prize)
30 coins tossed (3 handfuls of candy)
97 turns on the bouncy obstacle course and slide
1 opossum and 1 lemur observed from Wild Things, Inc.
2 hot dogs
1 hamburger
2 juice boxes
1 bag of popcorn
2 1/2 hours of fun
AND only 1 kid who peed their pants.
It was a great deal and a super fun day...complete with Glod Fish. I mean, really what's a carnival without glod fish?
