Christmas Morning

Santa brought us a Wii! It was the highlight of the year. Gavin never thought it was possible, but there it was . . . a Santa Mii right on the TV screen. We have had so much fun with it and even Cambria thinks it's pretty great!

Once on a Housetop

We just left Gavin's school for their Holiday Program. It was quite entertaining and Gavin did a great job on his part. As they sang There's a Big Red Fella in the Chimney, Gavin shouts out "Somebody get me an axe!" It was pretty cute. He enjoys the musical theater. I wonder where that came from!

Candy Cane Lane

For Family Night we went down to Candy Cane Lane. A fun little street where all the houses get decorated for the holidays. Our friends went with us and we had a great time looking at all the lights. Carson (see face) had a fantastic time!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Here we go, friends. It's December already. Our tree is up and has only been completely taken apart 4 times. Thank goodness for small miracles. The kids are excited for Christmas because we have a big fireplace and Santa can surely fit down it. It'll be a Merry Christmas after all!

Cambo the fashion queen

She's beautiful...we know, we hear it all the time, especially when she dresses herself. We think she possibly has a career in fashion ahead of her. Can we get an Amen?

All he wants for Christmas...

...is some In-N-Out. Keep it in mind, o ye gift-givers. Clint loves the In-N-Out burger!

Halloween

This Halloween we went to our Trunk-or-Treat at church and a little door-to-door treating too! The kids looked so cute and had so much fun. The adults even dressed up this year! Woohoo!

Lovin' the beach!

We decided to go to the beach a few weeks ago. Clint thought that he would pull out the boogie board and go for it. It was a little chilly and he came in before the sharks headed his way. Good choice! Carson and his friend, Adriann, played in the sand while Gavin and Cambria raced the waves to the shore. We warmed up and headed to In-N-Out, our regular Saturday lunch choice. Mmmm, gotta love In-N-Out!

November in Monterey

Here we are...in California. 52 degrees today, 78 degrees tomorrow. A little unpredictable, but delightful anyway. There is so much to do here, agriculturally speaking. We have gone strawberry picking, garlic festival going, pumpkin patch browsing, and artichoke experimenting all in the 4 months since we got here. It has been really fun to make these memories with our kids!
